    Join the DIRTT team in supporting the Saskatoon Food Bank by bringing donations of canned goods to our holiday get-together - and together we'll build a tin can christmas tree. The food items you donate will help our community through what can be a very difficult time of year.

    Relax and mingle with your peers over snacks and a drink, and take an ICE VR tour through our holiday-themed winter wonderland!

    Power of Place: The key to employee engagement is bringing people together with a sense of purpose in a place that will help them achieve their best work. However the notion of place often goes overlooked, but when the workplace is designed to be a destination there are substantial gains inengagement and productivity to be had. To achieve this a workplace must be not just a location to do work, but a place that balances collaboration with privacy, and fosters cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being.

     

    As a result of taking this course, you should be able to: 
    1. State the benefits of an engaged workforce 
    2. Understand how People, Purpose, and Place leads to engagement
    3. Describe what it means to have a workplace that is a destination
    4. Understand how privacy can improve effectiveness
    5. Describe ways in which employees can leave the workplace feeling better

    Interior Designer's Association of Saskatchewan is teaming up with Saskatchewan Fashion Week. Five design teams will be creating booths in the Hospitality Lounge. There will be two award categories, the award of excellence and the people's choice award. The hospitality lounge is free for the public, so please come down to support IDAS, Saskatchewan Fashion week and vote for your favorite booth.
